This is a time to connect with yourself. This is your time to be still and feel. Before your steam session, take some deep breaths and stretch. Yoga and hip openers are a wonderful way to open your pelvic floor.

Prepare your steam session by cleaning and dressing your space in beauty to create a zen vibe by lighting a candle, burning your favorite incense or sage, playing relaxing music, drinking your favorite cup of tea, writing in a journal, and as you place your herbs in the water set an intention for your ceremony. Additional ways to enhance your experience may include: an Epsom salt foot soak to relax even deeper and release toxins. Womb massage with oil by applying medium pressure around the inside of your rib cage, inside your hip bones, and pelvic bone moving clockwise and counterclockwise. Self-massage your feet, neck, and lower back.

This intimate time can inspire and strengthen personal awareness. It is recommended that you rest after steaming to integrate your experience. Steaming before bed can enhance deep sleep. Consult your inner self and wellness specialists to know whether steaming is right for you.
